Stellenbosch Academy offers a one year Certificate in Commercial Photography.

The Certificate in Commercial Photography will prepare students for a career as a commercial photographer and cover a wide spectrum of content including advertising, portraiture, landscapes, and documentary photography. Technical aspects such as various camera equipment, computer software, reproduction methods and studio work, will be covered.

Students will be guided in building an extensive portfolio of work as well as specialising in their specific field of interest.

What you will need to apply

•A portfolio of photographs, including the following:
•A person of character
•An action photograph
•A landscape
•An interesting object
•A photograph showing texture

The deadline for submission of application forms is December 2009. Registration will be on 16 January and orientation on the 19th and 20th of January. Classes will commence on the 26 January at the Academy’s campus in Techno Park.
