This intensive PORTFOLIO COURSE course runs over 18 weeks.. Your contact time will be weekly for 2 hours (EACH Wednesday (16h00-18h00) whereby you will be briefed and thereafter afforded the opportunity to build your professional portfolio. You will be required to do 6 hours minimum process work before each session.

This programme has been designed to ensure that GRAPHIC DESIGN graduates build a professional and competitive portfolio. The reality remains that whilst studying full-time one is encapsulated in learning the skills but time does not afford professional portfolio development.

Our aim is to ensure that this additional time allows the student to focus on their area of specialization and area of interest and to adapt their portfolio for the competitive market accordingly. You will be briefed  and will be afforded critique and guidance within this development process.

This custom built course enables you to craft a portfolio for the industry. You may direct your portfolio to change from Design into Art Direction or to concentrate on areas within Design such as magazines or packaging.  This has been successful at both AAA and at Vega, winning a gold Loerie for Design.

Requirements:  A formal post-graduate 3 year qualification from an accredited institution.

Candidates will be interviewed and must present a portfolio .

Or presentation of a portfolio of  experience within the industry.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe CS3 – Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
