This is more than your usual campus day, it is an opportunity to step into a creative environment where ideas, design, and visual storytelling come to life. You will have an opportunity to engage with our lecturers, connect with our team, and explore the spaces where our students learn, experiment, and grow. We will be running panel discussions as well as workshops, so be sure not to miss out.

The day will run from 09:00-13:00. We will be hosting panel discussions that you are welcome to attend, workshops in our creative spaces, or simply just walk around and experience our campus for what it has to offer. 

The following sessions will be presented by Academy staff, alumni and creative industry professionals.

• 9:00 | Introducing the Academy: Discover what makes us unique. Learn more about our creative programmes, student life, industry-focused approach, and how we prepare students for careers in the creative industry.

• 9:30 | Academy Alumni in Industry: Hear directly from Academy alumni as they share how their experiences at the Academy helped shape their creative journeys and careers in industry. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights into life after graduation.

• 10:00 | Creative Thinking and AI: Join us for a thought-provoking talk about integrating new technologies in visual communication in order to future-proof your career in an evolving creative industry.

• 11:00 - 12:00 | Portfolio Workshop: This workshop gives you the opportunity to explore exactly what goes into a strong portfolio submission with guidance from Academy lecturers. You don’t need to have finished work to show, the session is designed to help you understand what’s expected and leave with a clearer idea of how to put your best application forward.
